Opening the door to Tantric Sex!

Open the door to Tantric Sex! Start by practicing these three tips by Logan Herlihy from Elite Daily to become a Tantric Master. What do you think of when you hear the word Tantra sex? Just keep in mind, sex only plays a small part in the actual ancient texts of Tantra. But because we all have a collective, naughty mind, let’s just focus on the naughty. Tantra has its roots in ancient Indian times. The ancient yogic texts were all about the search for Samadhi (enlightenment).

Most of the traditional philosophies believed, in order to reach this state of pure consciousness, one had to go above and beyond the temptations and pleasures of a normal human existence.

Only by committing oneself to this lifestyle could one go beyond this state of normal human existence, into a higher level of consciousness.

Tantra arose as an alternative viewpoint from this more traditional sect.

Though it was not originally focused on sex (as it’s now usually associated with), Tantrics believed you could use certain elements of the human experience to elevate yourself to this higher plane.

Enter sex.

If you’ve ever had an orgasm, you know that in those brief few moments of ecstasy, the entire world goes blank.

Your mind completely clears, and for a brief second, you enter into another state of consciousness.

You are completely and utterly in the present moment, totally conscious.

Then, it’s gone.

Tantric sex attempts to train oneself to extend these moments.

Here are the ways you too can find your inner Tantric God:

The 80 percent rule

This is the most straightforward tip.

Treat sex like it’s a scale.

For men, the key is staying in a certain range.

You feel good enough to stay at “attention,” but not so good you cross the point of no return.

For Tantric sex, you have to refine what it means to have an orgasm.

For men, we associate an orgasm with ejaculation, but these are actually two separate processes.

In reality, the chemicals released in our brain upon orgasm, and the release of sperm from the ejaculatory ducts, are two separate occurrences.

By training ourselves in this 80 percent zone, we can learn to control this impulse, and eventually separate it.

With practice, you can slowly increase your pleasure threshold past the 80 percent mark into 90, or even 95 percent.

With lots of practice and commitment, you can actually train yourself to experience the male equivalent of the female multiple orgasms.

This one is a little more tricky. Basically, tighten that sh*t up.

Sublimation is a yogic and Tantric process of moving energy up through your bodily system.

This essentially means practicing tightening techniques of the prostate gland and the urethra.

As you continue to practice and engage with your partner, you use breathing and tightening techniques to move the flow of energy away from your downstairs and toward your upwards.

Just to give you an idea, imagine your partner is on top.

It’s starting to feel good, and is pushing you past your 80 percent threshold.

By focusing on tightening the muscles downstairs and taking deep breaths, you can attempt to overcome these sensations, and move the energy away before it’s too late.

If you’re really committed to giving Tantra a shot, the biggest thing you need is partner who is on board.

Make sure you’ve discussed this, and she knows what she’s getting into.

However, if you say, “I want to get better at sex so we can have marathon sessions together,” your partner probably won’t argue.

Realize, at first, things can be a little frustrating.

But focus on the end game, make sure your partner knows what she’s getting into and just practice.
