Bring it on, 2018.
Okay, we know this is as old of an NYR you can get but seriously - taking care of yourself should always come first. Working out, eating right, and sleeping well all have a positive impact on your health and energy. Which in turn will have a better impact on your sex life.
It is never too late to learn something new, especially when there are PLENTY of resources out there! Pick up a book on sexuality (ex. “The Erotic Mind” By Jack Morin), take a class (ex. Erotic Massage for Couples), learn about a new trend penetrating the sex universe, the list goes on. Take to Google and go from there.
What better time to try something new than in a new year? Think outside of the box and shop for something you’ve never gotten before. It could be anything from a different kind of lube to a new toy. Untap turn-ons you never knew you had and tap into Kama Sutra's best sellers.
Pamela Madsen for Huffington Post suggests taking a ‘Sexual Safari.’ Look into different areas you’ve never thought of before - but don’t feel pressured to pick or commit to anything. Search sex conferences (go alone or with your S.O. if you have one) for a getaway weekend, or walk through erotic stores and actually ask questions on things that heighten your curiosity. The world is, deliciously, your oyster (aphrodisiac pun much?)
No, you can't stay young forever. At least not yet.
But that is definitely not a bad thing since - according to several scientific sources - your drive and sex life are predicted to get better as you get older.
